About the Role
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in schools across Hinckley. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Support students' emotional, social, and behavioural development
Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's development
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
