Job Title: Lead Tester
Location: Hybrid - Regular travel to Central London
Reporting To: Test Manager

Overview
We are looking for a Lead Tester to provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise in automated testing. You will design, execute and maintain automated tests using the Triangle Test Automation product while supporting testers, developers and stakeholders within agile scrum teams covering the trade lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and customise the Triangle Test Automation product

Design, execute and report on automated tests

Provide leadership and support to test team members

Promote testing best practices and standards

*

Integrate testing into end-to-end test and release processes

Requirements

*

Hands-on experience in test automation

*

Team leadership and standards governance experience

*

Strong knowledge of SpecFlow (Reqnroll), API testing, SQL, GIT and Azure Pipelines

*

Strong communication and collaboration skills

*

Proactive problem-solving approach

*

Experience in Energy Trading or Capital Markets is desirable

*

Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Desirable Skills

*

Python, Data Testing or .NET

*

Event or message bus testing (e.g. Kafka or Azure Service Bus)

*

Test data and pipeline configuration (YAML, JSON or XML)

*

Bash or PowerShell scripting

*

Performance, stress or security testing
