Job Title: Permanent Primary School Teacher

Location: New Forest, Hampshire.Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent (long term options also available).Salary: MPS/UPS - £32,916 to £51,048.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school community in the heart of the New Forest. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to pupils aged 5–11, fostering a love of learning and supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum across core subjects (English, Maths, Science, etc.)
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including SEN pupils.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance the learning experience.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and manage mixed-ability classrooms.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children with safeguarding procedures, keeping a safe environment.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
  • Familiarity with outdoor learning or forest school approaches.
  • Enthusiasm for integrating technology and creative methods into teaching.
  • A collaborative and reflective approach to professional practice.
  • QTS certificate.
