Academics in Canterbury are calling all passionate educators in the field of mathematics! We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Maths Supply Teachers to join our team in the Whitstable and Herne Bay area. If you have a knack for teaching and inspiring students, this opportunity is perfect for you. As a supply teacher, you'll have the flexibility to work on a temporary basis, covering for absent teachers and supporting students' learning journeys.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and needs of students
Implement effective behaviour management techniques to ensure a positive learning environment
Assess and provide feedback on student progress, offering additional support where required
Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational environmentRequirements:

Proven experience as a Maths Teacher or relevant teaching experience in mathematics
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver lessons accordingly
Ability to effectively engage and inspire students while maintaining a positive classroom environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff
Flexibility and adaptability to handle different teaching assignments and adjust to changing circumstancesQualifications:

A degree in Mathematics or a related field is preferred, but not essential
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is desirable
Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, or willingness to obtain one
