Finance Manager

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

Location: Remote working, with 2 days a month in London

Exclusively partnering with a membership organisation who are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations and provide strategic financial insight to the Chief Executive, Board, and Executive Team. This is a broad controllership role combining financial reporting, planning & analysis, and governance to support the organisation’s operational and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, Board reporting, and statutory accounts
• Owning budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, with clear analysis of performance and variances
• Developing and maintaining robust financial controls, policies, and risk management frameworks
• Managing treasury activities and banking relationships
• Overseeing audit processes, compliance, and HMRC reporting (VAT, PAYE)
• Supervising outsourced finance support across AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations
• Supporting procurement, pension administration, and insurance management
• Support with the growth of the Finance function
• Review and manage the payroll process
• Work closely with the external Accountants

Your Experience

• Experience working in a hands on finance management role with expeirence in financial reporting and policy development
• Xero experience is needed!
• Qualified is a bonus but not necessary if relevant experience
