Solutions Delivery Manager - VMS

Job Description

As a member of the CCS Product Delivery team, the Solutions Manager will serve as the subject matter expert for customer implementations and will become a key influencer to senior and executive leadership concerning product implementations and product strategy. Through extensive pre-sales interaction, the incumbent will be responsible for designing solutions using the current suite of Easitrax technology that fits into the prospect/client’s current environment and meets business objectives. This individual will be responsible for using their market knowledge to consult on best practices as they relate to customer need, solutions implementations for prospects and effectively communicating these recommendations to Product Management leadership as well as aide in the creation and execution of related customer communications.  This role also will share these communications within CCS internally through presentations and custom demonstrations.  In addition, this role will develop and deliver customer specific training curriculums and identify and develop customer business requirements for delivery to Product Management.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Understand the customer and be able to articulate solutions-related recommendations in industry-focused language

  • Understand the implications of a prospect’s organization to business process and technical requirements

  • Translate business requirements using methods and models and determine/recommend appropriate product solutions to Product Management leadership

  • Analyze ambiguous situations investigating multiple technologies, data architecture and solutions taking into consideration business drivers

  • Manage and execute MEI software implementation methodologies within defined milestones

  • Support the sales cycle with direct customer support and interaction that includes presentations, custom demonstrations and technical ownership of implementation cycle

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on product, integration process and complex program flows

  • Facilitate the resolution of extremely complex problems that impact the success of the implementation and related business opportunity

  • Contribute to RFPs and RFIs as required

  • Responsible for success of the solution implementation and acceptance by customers


Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 5+ years experience in a presales/consulting environment preferably within the Software ERP product space


We are seeking Associates with

  • Strong process development skills; ability to transform best practices and prospect requirements into highly efficient and executable business processes

  • Proven ability to improve relationship and performance between the sales and deliveryfunctions

  • Experience contributing to and executing on marketing strategic and business plans

  • Knowledge of ASP/Internet based technologies preferred as well as related technologies such as databases and integration frameworks

  • Experience with at least one of the following; SAP, Easitrax, Microsoft.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Mobile Platform Technologies, Vending Industry Standards

  • Solid understanding of internet technologies

  • Excellent oral, written and telephonic communication skills with the ability to conduct effective oral presentations

  • Excellent writing abilities

  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to interface with personnel from various departments and levels

  • Ability to work with cross-functional business and technical teams to provide quick and timely responses to customers/potential customers

  • Ability to work independently; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines and to seek assistance/direction when necessary

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; attention to detail and commitment to excellence; excellent time management skills

  • Ability to access information using automated systems (e.g., windows based computer)

  • Ability to quickly analyze data/situations and draw relevant conclusions to have positive effects on business in a complex environment; ability to make decisions to achieve desired results

  • Ability to make oral and written presentations; ability and confidence to present opinions and thoughts in a clear, unbiased manner

  • Ability to travel overnight as necessary - 50%
