HSEQ Engineer

As a HSEQ Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance within the construction department. This is a permanent position with great career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with UK Construction HSEQ regulations and standards
Develop and implement safety, health, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; provide recommendations for prevention
Deliver HSEQ training and awareness programs to employees and subcontractors
Collaborate with project teams to identify and address HSEQ requirements
Monitor and assess environmental impact, including waste management and pollution prevention

Job Requirements:

Significant experience with UK Construction HSEQ
Engineering qualification
NEBOSH or equivalent certification
Excellent understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
