HGV 2 Night Driver - Temp to Perm Opportunity - £41,787 PA + Up to £1,000 extra in bonuses !

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV 2 Night Drivers for a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established food distribution company based in Thatcham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for stable night work, competitive pay, and a permanent role.

Role Overview For HGV 2 Drivers:

• Shift Start Time: 01:00AM
• Shift Duration: Approx. 7-10 hours, depending on route
• Salary: £41,787 PA + Up to £1,000 extra in bonuses.
• Employment Type: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
• Routes Covered: Newbury, Basingstoke, Alton, Littlehampton, Chichester, Southampton, Weymouth, M4 corridor, and Swindon
• No London routes

Key Responsibilities Of The HGV 2 Driver:

• Multi-drop deliveries (approx. 7-13 drops per shift)
• Delivering chilled, ambient, and frozen goods
• Planning and managing your own delivery route
• Delivering to a range of customers including restaurants, cafes, hotels, lounges, and care homes
• Ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed correctly
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service

Shifts & Rota:

• Night work only - starting at 01:00AM
• 1 in 3 Saturdays off
• No Sunday work
• Rota-based schedule

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence
• CPC qualification
• Digi tacho card
• Previous experience in multi-drop driving is preferred
• Good geographical knowledge of the South and South West of England
