Maxxima’s nursing and social work team are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to fill a full-time role in Chelmsford. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health and Learning Disabilities practices within the NHS.
In this NHS role, you will complete routinely measured clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based clinical interventions. You will need to promote the mental and emotional health of children, young people with learning disabilities, and families in the community through clinical interventions. You will need to undertake initial school-based and community-based assessments and deliver a range of early interventions to children and young people with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties where appropriate.
You must be able to assess and develop plans of care to meet the complex needs of patients with a variety of conditions.&
This role is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, part time may be considered for 4 days a week.
The pay rate for this Qualified Social Worker role is £23.00
per hour (Umbrella), due to start ASAP.
& & Requirements of this Qualified Social Worker vacancy:
- All applications must be a registered Qualified Social Worker with Valid registration
- You must have at least 12 months recent experience with learning disabilities.
- You must be able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Must have experience working with children/young people.
- Must feel comfortable working with young people with mental health issues.
