Occupational Therapist - ADHD & Autism Assessments
Location: Cardiff
Rate: £400 per completed assessment (ADOS, Qb, ACE or DIVA) - Outside IR35

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and confident Occupational Therapist to join our neurodevelopmental assessment service in Cardiff. This is a freelance role, offering flexible working and competitive rates for professionals with expertise in assessing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessments using structured diagnostic tools such as ADOS, QbTest, ACE, and DIVA. Your role will include full clinical input: assessment, review, report writing, and participation in multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions. Assessments may be delivered in person or remotely.

What We're Looking For
Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist

At least 2 years' experience using structured diagnostic tools (e.g., ADOS)

Strong knowledge and understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly Autism and ADHD

Confidence in delivering comprehensive assessments both in-person and remotely

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team
