We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-known, award-winning Restaurant on the beautiful Suffolk Coast, which has an excellent reputation for their fine food and service. The restaurant is well regarded in the area for their level of service. They cater for a variety of clientele and local tourists, and have a solid menu, which is accompanied by a regularly changing specials board.

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated professional chef with a sound knowledge of contemporary cooking, good all-round kitchen skills, attention to detail and a real passion to keep the standard of food to rosettes standard. You will ideally come from a high standard restaurant or have a fine dining background to be suitable for this role. You will need to have experience of kitchen management, rotas, GP’s, and recruitment.

The ideal Head Chef will have a real passion for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation, whilst being able to work well with the current brigade. They will be innovative with concepts and ideas, always looking to better the current standard whilst remembering their target audience. They should also be looking to grow and develop alongside this blossoming business.

Skills and Qualifications Required

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef

Strong leader

Deep understanding of local ingredients

Due to location a car driver is essential. The venue can be easily accessed from Aldeburgh, Southwold, and Saxmundham.
