Are you a calm, child-centred Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant with a nurturing but resilient approach?

Our partner school - a highly regarded, setting with exceptional staff, that pride themselves on offering a Therapeutic approach - is looking for a SEMH/EBD Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join their team working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs, helping them access learning in a safe, structured and positive environment.

The successful applicant will come from a mainstream or SEN background and demonstrate experience in supporting pupils with behavioural difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

• Supporting pupils with SEMH/EBD needs in KS1 and KS2

• Using a therapeutic, trauma-informed and relationship-based approach

• Providing calm, consistent, child-centred support

• Working closely with the class teacher and wider pastoral team

• Full-time, Monday to Friday

• Temp to possible permanent for the right person

• A nurturing, patient, and emotionally resilient individual

• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils

• A calm and therapeutic approach under pressure

• Experience with SEMH/EBD is desirable but not essential for the right candidate

• Commitment to supporting children to reach their full potential
