Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

They are on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Principal Designer to join their expanding team in their Birmingham offices.

Duties for the role of Principal Designer include:

• Help deliver technical projects from planning stages through to new build delivery
• Implement the requirements of Building safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
• Lead the design team and other project team members, as well liaising with clients
• Carry out site visits and ensure projects comply with regulations and high ethical standards are achieved

Skills and experience for the role of Principal Designer:

• Relevant degree within architecture
• Strong experience working within a health and safety, design, or project management role.
• Strong interest in health and safety issues and risk management
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with The Building Safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Birmingham area
