As a Housekeeping Supervisor your responsibilities will be:•Always presenting self in perfect uniform and at correct shift start time•To be responsible for the planning, organisation, development and direction for the overall operation of the Housekeeping department in accordance with The Curtain standards and guidelines•To assure that the highest degree of quality guest care is maintained at all times•To attend, participate in and contribute to briefings and team meetings•Maintains the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc. and the appearance of Housekeeping areas, and performs regular inspections of guest areas and rooms for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties•Assures that Housekeeping staff follow established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies at all times•If on early shift, be responsible for allocating work lists and ensuring all rooms are covered. Check the room attendant, public areas, linen porters, house porters, uniforms, grooming and the use of non-slippery shoes are correct before issuing the daily sheet•Check all rooms as early as possible ensuring all standards are maintained.•Report any maintenance defects, using the correct procedures, and informing directly the Maintenance person on shift•Liaise with Reception regarding room moves, extra departures and any other special requests•Inspects storage rooms, utility and storage, closets, etc., for upkeep and supply control•Requisitions all Housekeeping supplies and equipment and maintains adequate inventory levels to provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment•Make sure all your rooms are reported clean before finishing duty and ensure a correct handover is completedInterested in learning more… Just APPLY below! We will keep hold of your details in case something else comes up in the future. •Develops and maintains written policy and procedures for housekeeping and laundry services•To ensure hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards are implemented and adhered to•To ensure all staff are using machinery correctly and inform the Head of Department of any training needs required•To be fully aware of all Health and Safety procedures within the Hotel•To ensure that all cleaning materials are being handled correctly and to be fully aware of COSHH regulations and data•To be aware of the misuse of Linen and Correct reject procedures so as to prevent high laundry costs and poor quality•Communicates with other HOD's to adequately plan for Housekeeping services and activities•Coordinates and monitors guests' moves and responds to their requests promptly and according to policies •To demonstrate a positive approach to own role and teamwork•To Support, train, develop and act as a role model to new members of the team•Be proactive a team player and the best support to the Housekeeping family•Attentiveness, active listening and great communication skills•Provides Rockstar service to all our guests, and The Curtain team all of the time•Ensures a smooth and efficient operation•Be excellent at multi-tasking whilst keeping our guests at the front of your mind at all times
