Mechatronics Software Engineer Warrington £DoE

Huxley Associates and an Engineering Innovator in Advanced Robotics & Automate Machinery are looking to recruit a Mechatronics Software Engineer on a permanent basis, owing to the continued growth of the company and the need for additional headcount to meet current & future project demands.

As the Mechatronics Software Engineer, you'll be an integral part of a multidiscipline Engineering team, designing, implementing & commissioning specialist Robotics & Automated Machinery applications for the High-End Engineering & Science Applications within Pharmaceutical, Life-Sciences, Healthcare & Industrial / Engineering Applications.

For this Mechatronics Software Engineer role, my client is looking for a Mechatronics Software Engineer who is degree educated and has the following experience:

Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics Degree
Able to develop technical solutions to meet project and customer expectations
Proficient with C#.NET (or similar) and developing high-level software solutions (ideally for HMI's / Robotic / Engineering Applications)
Familiarity with SQL Server and/or Oracle
Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
Good client facing skills

It would be beneficial if the Mechatronics Software Engineer had the following:

Experience with applications development in a machine control environment
Knowledge of electrical control systems
Ability to configure complex servo drive systems.
Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies
PLC/HMI programming experience
Experience with ABB/Staubli/Motorman robot arm software applications
