We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team, providing timely, accurate, and effective administration of the Premier League Medical Care Scheme. This role involves assessing claims against specific benefit limits, eligibility, and rules, and requires a candidate with a strong understanding of scheme rules and benefits, as well as excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Day to Day of the role: - Administer Medical Trust Schemes, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage cheque runs for the main Scheme and non-league accounts.
- Handle customer enquiries and address queries on invoices for all schemes.
- Conduct detailed analysis on schemes as requested, providing regular and ad-hoc reports on claims and membership data.
- Provide cover for other employees and assist with directing incoming post.
- Check membership criteria, claims, and provider pricing against agreements.
- Perform accurate data input for invoice processing and conduct investigations into treatments as necessary.
- Resolve invoice queries by identifying provider errors, advising providers, and managing bank checks, credits, and re-issues.
- Assist with financial analysis, including reconciliation against bank transactions and cheque run reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven team working abilities.
- Complete understanding of scheme rules and benefits.
- Ability to apply rules and benefits to daily processing tasks.
- Knowledge and application of pricing agreements at Health Partners agreed levels, and at the local club level.
- Empathy with members’ treatment requirements and the ability to adjudicate claims sensitively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with contentious issues with high-profile individuals.
