Pay Rate: £27 per hour (Day shifts)
Duration: Up to 2 months
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Community Day Shifts Only

Overview

The Borders Adult Mental Health Community Services team are offering a block booking opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN). This is an excellent short-term assignment suited to candidates with strong community mental health experience who are confident managing their own caseload.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality community mental health care across the Borders region

* Manage and prioritise a caseload independently

* Conduct assessments, deliver interventions, and support ongoing recovery plans

* Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team

* Travel within the community as required (car access essential)

Requirements

* Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC) - Band 6 level

* Previous CPN experience is essential

* Access to a car for work purposes

* Ability to manage a caseload safely and effectively

* PVG / Scottish DBS required (or willingness to obtain)
