THE OPPORTUNITY Recruiting Coordinator This is an exhilarating time to join the High Flying Foods Family We are currently in search of an experienced, knowledgeable, and excellence-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to join the Human Resources Team We offer an extensive training program, a team-oriented environment and future opportunities for growth within a dynamic restaurant group. This is not a remote position; this role is located in Sausalito, California with up to 75% local and multi-state travel required. QUALIFICATIONS 1 years experience in recruitment, staffing or human resources required Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required Experience working with union environment strongly preferred Experience working in hospitality industry strongly preferred Experience with human resources project management strongly preferred Must have knowledge and thorough understanding of Federal, State and local labor laws Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required Must be able to consistently travel to local and non-local hiring events Must be able to transport large recruiting materials to recruiting events Must be passionate about hiring, HR, and collaborating with various teams Must possess active listening skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills Must have the ability to anticipate company needs, potential conflicts and risk Must have the ability to exercise good judgement and display exceptional decision-making skills Must possess the ability to interact with people at all levels and develop rapport with individuals in different restaurant locations. Must have a strong work ethic, impeccable interpersonal and organizational skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills Must possess the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Must have the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently Must be able to work both as a team player and independently Must be able to sit, stand and walk for duration of shift Must be able to move hands, arms and wrists repetitively throughout duration of the shift RESPONSIBILITIES Manage full cycle recruitment for all airport and nonairport restaurant concepts Post job advertisements on various job sites Recruit qualified candidates using various recruiting tools Coordinate and conduct phone and in-person interviews Conduct reference and background checks Send offer packages and extend job offers Conduct new hire orientation as needed Develop job descriptions Work with both HR and Operations Teams to assess and anticipate staffing needs Manage employee offboarding process including exit interviews Seek out and maintain community organization relationships to increase exposure of vacant roles Support with airport badging practices and enforcement Ensure legal compliance with Federal, State and local laws and assess company risk Maintain and audit employee files, I-9 forms, and other related documentation Perform Human Resources projects during times of low staffing needs.
