We're currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join a well-established engineering and project delivery business specialising in bulk material handling systems — including projects across tunnelling, aggregates, and ports. This is a permanent role based in either Sunderland or Adlington.

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + benefits
Location: Sunderland or Adlington

The Role:
You'll be responsible for the technical and engineering delivery of projects, ensuring all design, scope, and safety requirements are clearly defined and aligned with project goals. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors, you'll help drive the successful execution of engineering deliverables.

Key Requirements:

HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

Background in heavy engineering or bespoke process plant design

Proficiency in 2D CAD software

Familiarity with ATEX regulations
