About the Role

The HGV Class 2 Driver / Plant Operative will act as an all-rounder, combining transport duties with basic plant support and maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

* Driving a low loader to transport plant to and from sites

* Operating a 20 tonne tipper truck as required

* Carrying out daily vehicle and plant checks

* Completing basic maintenance such as oil, filter and fluid changes

* Supporting site teams with plant movements

* Assisting with general yard duties and housekeeping

* Ensuring loads are secured correctly and transported safely

* Reporting defects promptly and accurately

* Working in line with health and safety procedures

This role will suit someone confident driving a Class 2 vehicle who also understands plant and is comfortable carrying out basic servicing and upkeep. Experience around excavators, dumpers and general site plant is beneficial.

A valid Class 2 licence is essential.
