Your Role as a Chemistry Teacher

As a Chemistry Teacher at our school, you will:

Teach Chemistry across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to teach A-Level if you have experience and interest in it.

Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that are engaging, varied, and cater to different learning styles.

Lead practical experiments and help students connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the Chemistry curriculum is up-to-date, engaging, and accessible for all students.

Contribute to extracurricular activities such as science clubs, trips, and competitions to further enhance students' learning experiences.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a Chemistry Teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Has a degree in Chemistry or a related field, and a passion for inspiring students in the subject

*

Is either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality lessons

*

Can challenge and support students of all abilities, helping them reach their full potential

Is open to feedback and eager to develop professionally
