Aluminium Welder - Permanent Position

Location: Stockport

Shifts: Primarily days, with occasional nights as required

Pay Rates: £19.22/hour (Days) | £25.56/hour (Nights, with 33% premium)

Contract Type: Permanent | Workshop-based | Overtime Available

We're recruiting on behalf of a respected engineering company in Stockport, recognised for delivering high-integrity fabrications to safety-critical sectors such as nuclear and defence. This is a secure, long-term role offering strong earning potential and the chance to work with complex, high-quality projects.

We're looking for experienced MIG Welders with proven aluminium welding expertise and a solid background in fabrication.

What we're looking for:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Welding/Fabrication

Strong MIG welding skills with aluminium experience

Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings

Ability to work to tight tolerances in precision environments

Flexibility to cover both day and night shifts when required

Day & Night Shift Patterns:

Days: Mon-Thu 7:00am-3:30pm, Fri 7:00am-12:30pm

Nights: Mon-Thu 9:15pm-6:55am
