Site Operative

Shotton, North Wales | £13.65 per hour | 8am-4pm | Monday - Friday | Temporary to Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a reliable Site Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Shotton, North Wales. The role involves supporting the safe operation of the site, bulk material handling, and assisting with waste removal and driving tasks.

Key Duties:

Operate the facility safely in line with legislation, company policies, and client sustainability standards.
Facilitate the discharge of waste material.
Drive a skip wagon onsite, picking up and emptying skips.
Drive and operate a gully sucker wagon onsite, emptying septic tanks and disposing of waste.
Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly inspections, housekeeping duties, and preventative maintenance.
Record and report inspection and maintenance results.

Requirements:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive approach to health, safety, and wellbeing.
Full UK driving licence.
Previous experience driving wagons is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
Good communication skills and ability to work with a range of people.
