Are you an experienced Mobile Electrician looking for a stable role with variety, autonomy and genuine progression? 

We're supporting a long‑standing, privately owned building services contractor as they continue to grow their electrical division across Devon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team that values quality, trust and long‑term relationships.

The Role 

As a Mobile Electrician, you'll carry out electrical maintenance, installation, testing and remedial works across a variety of sites in the Devon region. The work is diverse, well‑organised and supported by a friendly team who take pride in doing things properly. 

Key Responsibilities 

Conduct Electrical Testing & Inspection in line with BS 7671 
Complete electrical installation and upgrade works 
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance 
Deliver remedial works identified during testing and inspection 
Support apprentices and junior engineers 
Complete all certification, reports and electronic documentation accurately 
Work safely and compliantly at all times, following site‑specific requirements 
Maintain high standards of customer service and workmanship 
 
About You 

Full UK manual driving licence 
City & Guilds 2391‑52 (or equivalent) Testing & Inspection 
18th Edition Wiring Regulations 
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 
Minimum 2 years' experience in Testing & Inspection 
Strong awareness of safe systems of work and compliance
