We are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Year 5 team for the remainder of the academic year.

About the Role

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, providing support within a Year 5 classroom. Duties include:

• General TA responsibilities supporting pupils and the class teachers
• Occasional one-to-one support where needed
• Covering the class independently for 30 minutes twice a day, Monday to Wednesday, to allow the teacher to attend scheduled commitments
• Working alongside two class teachers-one covering Monday to Wednesday and another Thursday and Friday

Your flexibility and reliability will be greatly valued by the team.

Requirements

• Must be a qualified Teaching Assistant (e.g., Level 2/3 or equivalent)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Confident supporting learning across Key Stage 2
• Able to manage a classroom independently for short periods
• Positive, proactive and able to work well as part of a team
