Are you a hands-on Mechanical Fitter looking for a new opportunity in the Fakenham area?

Our client, a well-established engineering business, is looking to add a skilled Machinery Fitter to their workshop team. You'll be responsible for assembling, fitting, and maintaining a range of mechanical systems and equipment - playing a key part in the delivery of high-quality engineered solutions.

The Role

Assemble, fit and test mechanical components and machinery
Read and interpret technical diagrams and engineering drawings
Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Diagnose faults and carry out maintenance and repairs
Support project builds and assist with occasional customer installations
Ensure work meets required quality and health & safety standardsAbout You

Previous experience as a Machinery Fitter, Mechanical Assembler or similar
Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, moving assemblies - wiring experience a bonus
Practical problem solver with good attention to detail
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Relevant vocational or engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)What's on Offer
