We’re looking for a driven, people-first Store Leader who can bring the buzz, build a high-performing team, and help us continue growing as one of London’s go-to food destinations.

What you’ll lead & own

Store Operations

  • Take full ownership for daily running of a busy, high-volume store
  • Oversee opening/closing, compliance, health & safety, and operational standards
  • Drive strong stock control, merchandising and visual presentation
  • Lead stock takes and investigate discrepancies
  • Keep a tight handle on KPIs including sales, margin, waste and shrink
  • Plan rotas, manage payroll spend, and maintain labour efficiency
  • Report on store performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Champion loss prevention and operational consistency

People Leadership

  • Recruit, train and coach a diverse, energetic store team
  • Create a supportive, engaged environment where people feel valued
  • Motivate staff to hit targets through clear communication and positivity
  • Set cultural and behavioural standards that reflect the brand
  • Handle customer issues and staff concerns with professionalism
  • Lead by example every day

Customer Experience

  • Deliver warm, memorable customer service
  • Build a welcoming environment that celebrates East Asian & South-East Asian culture
  • Share product knowledge and help customers explore new ingredients
  • Communicate clearly with customers, your team, and senior management

What you’ll bring

  • Proven Store Manager or strong Assistant Manager experience
  • Confidence leading fast-paced, high-volume retail teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
  • Experience with KPIs, stock control, shrink, visual standards and labour planning
  • Passion for customer service and team development
  • Knowledge of East Asian/South-East Asian products is a big plus
  • Mandarin language ability is highly desirable
