Job Type: Permanent, FullTime

Salary: £35000/annum

Calling all qualified or part-qualified Accountants who have proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and General Manager you will be responsible for providing support to the accounting department by handling general accounting tasks daily. Your primary duties will include preparing financial statements, issuing receipts and invoices, and updating the financial database.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (FULL TIME OFFICE BASED)

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum depending on your experience

* Sales and purchase ledger processing

* Bank reconciliations

* Month end procedures and closing of ledgers

* Posting journals

* Reconciling supplier statements

* Credit control

* Preparing internal management reports

* Management accounts

* Reposting into the financial controller on a monthly basis

Skills Required:

* Minimum qualification - AAT Level 4 Advanced Certificate or part-qualified Accountant

* Some knowledge of SAGE accounting systems would be beneficial

* Strong written and verbal communications skills

* Flexible and willing approach

* Strong attention to detail
