A highly successful San Francisco-based real estate investment and development firm is seeking a skilled, ambitious, and operationally savvy Fund Controller. The Fund Controller will direct and oversee all aspects of accounting for the private real estate investment funds under their management.
Some duties include: directing the accounting staff, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, responding to investor requests, managing loan compliance, as well as completing special projects and working closely with the acquisition team and upper management on firm initiatives.
** Will report directly to the CFO
** This person will get a flavor of what’s going on and offer some fresh eyes and perspective. Opinion will be highly valued.Job Requirements:
** 6+ years of experience, ideally with some audit and industry work experience in Real Estate Investment.
** Already experienced in Real Estate both Fund and Property level understanding.
** Most ideal if they have extensive Yardi experience.
** Willing to take an up and comer that “gets it done!”.
** CPA is nice to have but not a must.
