A&G Resourcing - HGV Class 1 Drivers (Weekends) - Newport and Bridgend

A&G Resourcing is currently looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to support a well-established transport company with depots in Newport and Bridgend. This opportunity is for weekend work mainly, with ad hoc shifts available throughout the week as well at different rates.Pay Rate:
• Saturday £15.50/h day / £17/h nights PAYE plus holidays
• Sunday £17.50/h day / £19h nights PAYE plus holidays
• Umbrella payments available rates from £19/h - £23/h (days/nights)
• Weekly salary option available

Driver Requirements:
• A valid HGV Class 1 licence
• Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Class 1 driver
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong geographical knowledge
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering to retail and general haulage sites
• Completing pre-use vehicle safety checks
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
• Following all driver hours, tachograph, and road safety regulations
• Accurate completion of legal and customer paperwork
