Tax Trainee | Quality Firm | Dublin

Our client is a well-established tax and advisory firm based in Dublin. The firm has a diverse client base consisting of both national and international clients. Currently, they are seeking a Tax Trainee to join their growing Tax Compliance and Tax Advisory team.

The firm has a nice mix of younger team members progressing through their exams and experienced tax consultants who have an "open door" policy and are keen to make sure you learn, develop and succeed!

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented person looking to develop their career in tax. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a diverse and expanding portfolio of clients, including both Personal and Corporate clients.

The role -

• Assist in the preparation and submission of Corporation Tax, Income Tax, CGT, and other Revenue returns and computations.
• Monitor and maintain compliance lists to ensure deadlines are met.
• Address client and Revenue queries promptly and professionally.
• Conduct research on technical tax issues and legislation to support senior tax staff.

About you -

• Have a genuine interest in tax
• Soon to be or recent graduate with from business, accounting, economics or maths
• Part-qualified accountant or accounting technician with a strong interest in pursuing a career in tax.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines.
