KS2 Behaviour Support Assistant role in Dewsbury

Supply Desk are currently working closely with primary schools in Dewsbury who are looking to recruit behaviour support assistants to work 1:1 with children who have autism or struggle with managing their behaviour. As a 1:1 behaviour support assistant you will be expected to work alongside children with their numeracy and literacy skills, using alternative learning techniques in order to aid their understanding and encourage positive behaviour.
n KS2 behaviour support assistant role
n Potentially working 1:1 children with challenging behaviour
n Helping with literacy and numeracy skills
n Using alternative teaching techniques to aid understanding and engagement
n Daily pay rate £60-£75
The Ideal Candidate
n Resilient and consistent in your approach
n Experience working in a school setting with autism preferred
n Great behaviour management and consistency required
n Understandable and adaptable to individuals needs
n Comfortable with challenging behaviour
