Robert Half is pleased to be recruiting an Interim Operations Director for our long standing client in Watford. The position will be required for approximately 9-12 months at this stage.
The position of Interim Operations Director will provide overseeing and optimising of assurance operational functions, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all departments. You will be required to control financial planning and reporting, capex and live forecasting, to support operational needs and report dashboards to the MD. Also you will be required to assist the head of departments to develop and implement operational strategies, manage budgets, and lead teams to achieve business objectives while adhering to regulations and compliance procedures
- Proven experience as an Operations Director or equivalent position is essential
- In depth experience in managing budget planning, reviewing financial information to make informed decisions and enhance profitability, capex spend control and innovation budgets.
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities, outstanding communication and people skills, and in-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles is essential.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency that ensures that all departments work cohesively towards common objectives.
- Proven leadership in project management and delivery of in a diverse business environment.
- External / private investment experience would be an advantage.
- Board level communication and high level of gravitas is essential
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountant is also preferable due to the organisational structure and reporting lines for this position.
The position of Interim Operations Director is an urgent requirement, there are excellent on-site facilities and hybrid working is also available.
