The Tradewind Recruitment team in West Lancashire are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work at a local primary school in Ormskirk!

We are working on behalf of a lovely primary school located in Ormskirk who are looking for a passionate learning support assistant for a long-term role starting from December. The role is full time and will be ongoing throughout the academic year. The daily rate for this role starts from £80 a day.

As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of a primary school student with special educational needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-on-one support to the designated student to help them achieve their educational goals.
Assisting the student with classroom activities, assignments, and tasks.
Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborating with the classroom teacher and special education staff to create and implement effective learning plans.
Monitoring and assessing the progress of the student and adapting support as needed.
Building a strong and supportive relationship with the student to encourage their confidence and engagement in learning.
Assisting with personal care, as required, to ensure the student's well-being.To be considered for this role, we will need the following:

Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
