️ Maintenance Team Leader - FMCG

Location: Droitwich

Salary: £60,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - Days Only (No nights!)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Team Leader to join a high-performance engineering team within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing facility based in Droitwich. You'll play a key role in leading a team of engineers to ensure maximum uptime across all production and packaging equipment, driving continuous improvement and ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and support a team of multi-skilled engineers on shift

Ensure effective execution of planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance tasks

Prioritise and manage breakdowns to minimise downtime

Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve OEE and reliability

Maintain and enforce health & safety and compliance standards

Support training and development of team members

Monitor performance data and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Support site projects, installations, and commissioning activities

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a maintenance or engineering environment

Strong background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or similar high-speed production industries

Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding, and PPM

Experience with automation systems, conveyors, packaging lines, and PLC fault diagnosis

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
