ASAP StartThis opportunity to work with social, emotional and mental health needs is available to start ASAP and will be a full-time, long-term position. The school will consider learning support assistants both at a graduate level as well as those who have experience working with SEN or children in general. Most important to the school is your passion for helping young people with mental health as the children are in the heart of everything they do!

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be supporting the emotional development, behavioural needs and academic development of the students, overcoming any barriers to learning and promoting self-esteem.

If you are hoping to explore a career in Psychology, Education, Social Work or in the Criminal Justice system this is a fantastic opportunity for you. Not only will you have first-hand experience working with young people who have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, but you will be able to work alongside trained professionals in the mentioned fields, shadowing psychologists and counsellors etc.
