Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Delivering mechanical building services projects from feasibility through to construction and handover, with values ranging from £100k to £5M.
Managing the time, quality, and delivery of own mechanical designs.
Producing mechanical designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications for tender and construction.
Working closely with other members of the M&E design team to deliver coordinated designs.
Liaising with clients, architects, and project teams on a day-to-day basis.
Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to support efficient and buildable designs.
Undertaking site visits, surveys of existing installations, and monitoring works on site.
Assisting with the development of trainee and junior staff.
Attending site and design team meetings as required.
Qualifications & Experience

HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
1+ years' experience in a mechanical building services design role.
Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software (or similar).
Knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant standards (HTMs desirable but not essential).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Full UK driving licence
