The Best Connection is proud to partner with our brand-new client - a leading global producer of PVC profiles for windows and residential doors, as well as a renowned provider of shutter systems and PVC sheets. We are seeking experienced Production Setters to join their growing team.
What You'll Be Doing- Maintain a clean and organised work environment through strong housekeeping practices.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety standards and company procedures.
- Uphold quality systems to guarantee products meet all specifications.
- Monitor and optimise production processes to minimise downtime and scrap.
- Adhere to production schedules and communicate any performance or quality issues to the Lamination Supervisor.
- Complete all required production administration accurately.
- Maximise output through fault-finding, tool changes, trials, and cycle time regulation.
- Perform operator-led maintenance, inspect parts, and make adjustments to meet specifications.
What We're Looking For- Experience: Minimum 3 years in production setting (essential).
- Background in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal), literacy, and numeracy.
- Basic computer skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to support a small, dynamic team.
- Ability to train and share skills with colleagues.
Pay Rate & Hours:
- 48 hours per week, Monday - Thursday (hours to be discussed)
- £12.81 - £14.86 per hour.
