Salary: £28000 - £32000/annum

BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Personal/Executive Assistant to join our client who are an award-winning group of financial services and technology companies based in Newburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Key Benefits they offer:

* Salary based on experience - £28,000 to £32,000

* Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (1hr Lunch) (Flexible with starting hours)

Your Duties & Responsibilities include:

Diary and Calendar Management

* Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and events for the executives

* Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and transport.

Communication

* Serve as the first point of contact, handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence.

* Draft, edit, and proofread documents and reports on behalf of the executive.

Administrative Support

* Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

* Ensure that the executive is prepared for meetings with the necessary documents and background information.

Task Coordination

* Work closely with other departments or external parties to coordinate specific projects.

Confidentiality

* Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure that confidential documents are secured at all times.

Project Management

* Assist with specific projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are produced to a high standard.

You will need:

Experience and Education

* Minimum of three years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar administrative role.

Skills and Competencies

* Strong organisational and time management skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and calendar management tools (Outlook, Google Calendar).

* Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Personality and Attributes

* High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.

* Ability to handle stress and work under pressure.

Additional Qualifications

* Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary.

* Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask effectively
