Permanent Teacher of Physics (KS5 Specialist) - Outstanding Barking School (Physics Department)
An outstanding school in Barking is seeking a passionate and expert Permanent Teacher of Physics to join our dynamic Physics Department. This role will primarily focus on inspiring our Sixth Form students to excel in A-Level Physics and develop a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of the universe through rigorous scientific inquiry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons primarily to A-Level students.
* Foster a deep and critical understanding of advanced physics concepts, theories, and practical skills.
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of the A-Level Physics curriculum within the Physics Department.
* Assess and monitor student progress at A-Level, providing expert guidance and support for their academic success and progression to higher education in physics and related fields.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Physics Department, sharing best practices in A-Level Physics teaching and assessment.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A strong degree in Physics or a closely related field.

* Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the A-Level Physics specification and assessment requirements.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills, specifically tailored to engaging and challenging Sixth Form students.
