Responsibilities As a Geotechnical Design Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading geotechnical design and analysis for a variety of infrastructure projects.
- Providing technical oversight, review, and approval of design deliverables.
- Managing multidisciplinary project teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Overseeing financial management of projects, including budgeting and cost control.
- Mentoring and developing junior staff to enhance team capabilities.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and supporting managerial strategies.
Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline, with relevant industry experience.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and projects effectively.
- Reside within a commutable distance of the Croydon office.
Day-to-Day Your day-to-day activities will involve:
- Conducting detailed geotechnical design and analysis using industry-standard software.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Attending client meetings and providing technical expertise to stakeholders.
