1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School, Bolton (Full‑time, September Start)

Full-time: Monday-Friday, 32.5-37 hrs/week, term-time + 5 inset days

You will work 1:1 with a pupil with SEN-potentially ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech/language needs or sensory challenges-to:

Clarify instructions and support access to learning, both in-class and during interventions
Implement behaviour and communication strategies
Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCO, parents, and external professionals
Prepare and adapt resources to fit individual learning plansEssential Requirements

Previous experience in 1:1 or small‑group SEN support in a primary setting
Strong understanding of behaviour strategies, ASC, SEMH, or language-based needs
Excellent interpersonal skills-able to liaise with staff, parents, and the SENCO
Suitable qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, CACHE, or equivalent), plus a full DBS or willingness to obtain oneWhat We Offer
