Product Engineer - Electronics Manufacturing

Are you a hands-on electronics manufacturing expert looking for your next challenge? We are looking for an experienced Product Engineer to join our world-class team, supporting the design, documentation, and production of cutting-edge electronic assemblies.
What You'll Be Doing:
Translating customer drawings and parts lists into clear, production-ready documentation
Creating and updating detailed Assembly Aids (AA's)
Reviewing and inputting Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Supporting production teams to resolve technical issues and improve yields
Liaising across departments and directly with customers on engineering matters
Providing Design for Manufacture (DFM) feedback
Supporting quality, sales, and continuous improvement activities
What We're Looking For:
You will need to bring more than just the basics - we are after someone with solid, hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing. You should have practical knowledge of:
SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
Wave and Robotic Soldering
Hand Soldering
PCB Inspection & Cleaning
Electronic Testing (manual or automated)
Cable & Wiring Assembly
Box Build Assembly
Conformal Coating
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in an electronic assembly or engineering technician role
Able to read technical drawings and understand electronic component specifications
Confident creating manufacturing documents using Microsoft Word
Experience with MRP stock systems is a plus
Engineering qualifications (A-Level, BTEC or higher) are desirable
A trade test may be required to confirm practical skills
