SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to support in a Secondary SEN setting in North Liverpool.

This is a school supporting students aged 13-19 with ASC, PMLD, complex learning needs and SEMH.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD. Training will be provided
* Work collaboratively with teachers and outside agents to implement individual learning plans
* Promote a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment

Essential Requirements

* Experience working with children is essential
* Previous experience supporting in a school setting or similar
* Understanding of ASD
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support
