The Role

The Second in Charge of Science will:

* Assist the Head of Department in curriculum planning, development, and assessment across all Science disciplines.

* Support the line management and professional development of Science teachers.

* Contribute to monitoring and evaluating teaching and learning across the department.

* Lead specific departmental initiatives and projects (e.g., practical investigations, STEM clubs).

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a passionate Science teacher with QTS/QTLS who:

* Possesses strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and a proven track record of effective teaching.

* Demonstrates leadership potential, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach.
