PRODUCTION ASSISTANT – APPLEBY MAGNA, DERBYSHIRE (PART TIME)

• Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 12:30

Rates of Pay

• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Production Assistant, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Filling component bins for assemblers
• Checking stock components and booking goods into the system
• Monitoring stock levels and advising management when low
• Cutting specific terminals from reels for assembly use
• Reeling cables from drums using a digital cable counter and completing documentation
• Participating in annual stock take activities
• Maintaining a clean and organised production and mezzanine area
• Supporting general housekeeping duties, including external upkeep where required
• Assisting in meeting production targets

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Production Assistant, you will need:

• Basic PC skills including Excel and Word
• Good practical and hands-on ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work flexibly when required

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in parts, picking, or production environments
• Experience within a manufacturing environment (advantageous but not essential)
• Availability to start work as soon as possible

Training Provided

• Full in-house training
• Ongoing support and development
