Compliance Supervisor - Passive Fire Protection

North-West based (Expension to Midlands)

Full-time | Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Supervisor to join a growing and well-established passive fire protection contractor. This is a key role within the business, focused on maintaining high standards across compliance, accreditation, and quality assurance on projects nationwide.

This position will suit someone with a strong technical understanding of passive fire protection who is confident managing audits, carrying out inspections, and supporting site teams to ensure works are delivered in line with FIRAS, BM TRADA and industry standards.

The Role

As Compliance Supervisor, you will play a central role in ensuring all passive fire protection works are compliant, audited correctly, and delivered to the highest standard. You will work closely with both site teams and senior management, acting as the technical and compliance lead across projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain third-party accreditation schemes including FIRAS and BM TRADA Q-Mark

* Coordinate external audits and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date

* Carry out site inspections, quality checks and compliance audits on fire stopping and fire protection works

* Ensure all works meet relevant industry standards, specifications and certification requirements

* Produce detailed inspection and audit reports, including corrective actions where required

* Provide technical support and compliance guidance to site teams and operatives

* Support continuous improvement of internal compliance systems and processes

Requirements

* Proven experience within passive fire protection (fire stopping, compartmentation, fire doors)

* Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as FIRAS, BM TRADA, IFC or similar

* Experience managing or supporting third-party accreditation audits

* Ability to carry out detailed site inspections and produce clear, professional reports

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

* Confident communicator, able to work with both site teams and senior stakeholders

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
