As a Grounds maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in Supervising operatives on keeping outdoor spaces to the highest standards. Your responsibilities encompass a diverse range of tasks, requiring both practical expertise and effective leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Demonstrate safe handling of gardening equipment and machinery.

* Operate various types of petrol machinery proficiently.

* Perform tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, hedge cutting, irrigation, planting, and de-weeding.

* Conduct garden clearances to maintain tidy and presentable outdoor spaces.

* Ensure gardening equipment remains operational by adhering to manufacturer's operating and care guidelines.

* Uphold a safe working environment by strictly following procedures, rules, and regulations.

* Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

* Ensure all work is carried out and completed to the highest standards.

* Implement safe work practices in accordance with the company's Health & Safety policies.

The Person

* Essential experience in gardening and grounds maintenance.

* Driving License required

* Previous proficiency in operating gardening machinery.

* Demonstrated attention to detail in all tasks.

* Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.

* Possession of a clean driver's licence.

* Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (preferred).

* Work location primarily on the road, covering various areas as required.
