About the Role:

As a Construction Teacher in Blackpool, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality vocational education to students across various levels. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance curriculum materials and teaching strategies.
Foster strong links with local construction companies to provide students with industry insight and work experience opportunities.
Stay up-to-date with developments in the construction industry and educational best practices.What We're Looking For:

Essential:
Relevant qualification in Construction or a related trade (e.g., NVQ Level 3/4, HNC/HND, Degree).
Significant industry experience in a construction trade (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, plumbing, electrical).
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations within the construction industry.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
Desirable:
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS) or a willingness to work towards one.
Experience teaching in a further education or vocational training setting.
Assessor or verifier qualifications (e.g., A1/TAQA).
