Randstad Education is seeking a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a Liverpool-based SEN school. This is a full-time position during school term, with a strong chance of a permanent offer for the right candidate.

The Opportunity:

You'll be providing individualised support for a student with complex educational and developmental needs such as SLD, ASD, and ADHD.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• An Enhanced DBS (Child and Adult) or willingness to obtain one.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in UK schools.
• Prior experience in SEN settings is advantageous.
• Commitment to a full-time role across the academic week.
• Strong professional references.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 support tailored to the child's EHCP.
• Encourage engagement and active learning.
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists.
• Use the P Scales curriculum as a guide.
• Support pupils with a range of SEN and physical disabilities.
• Display compassion, resilience, and reliability.
